Overcome all myths and fears that falsely taint the reputation of this flexible, powerful and mesmerizing medium. Adopting (and explaining!) the British tradition that does not use white pigment, this course covers the diversity of papers and other surfaces available to watercolorists, brush use and maintenance, application techniques, and color and composition theory, among many other technical and aesthetic aspects. We do not use quick formulas, yet many of our watercolor beginners have reaped highly coveted regional and national awards within their first year of painting.
